The concept of the National Open Government Portal represents a vital bridge between data representing institutions and society, based on the principles of transparency and innovation

The National Open Government Portal was developed in cooperation between
the University of Information Technology and Communications and and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers/National Center for Digital Transformation
based on the recommendations of the committee concerned with (coordinating and managing government activity towards establishing e-governance). The portal is the first official Iraqi platform that provides official and documented data published by government entities.
